Two years on….

Well, it’s been two years now since Randy and Calvin made the decision to take Jimi’s life. I sit and wonder “Why?”  Why would someone do this? How could someone do this? Was it because he had something that they wanted? Why didn’t they say something to him? Why didn’t you ask (or tell) him to get out of his car that you apparently wanted to have so bad? Why did you just pull the trigger? Why did a man who worked and earned everything he had have to meet up with the likes of you two? What gives you the right?

These questions and hundreds more go through my head on a daily basis. I think I’ll publish your answers in your own words on this site for all the world to see!

AJ, I love you like a brother and what you posted today was great. I am so happy to see that you are not going to let those animals off and not be forgotten by family and friends. You were a true brother to Jimi and he was blessed with you. and his friendship and love for you had for one another. Our family will always be greatful to you for standing up and taking over like the man that you are. We would have never been able to get through these last two years without your support and love you have for us girls. Wilma is an extremely lucky lady to have found you and have such a wonderful husband that you are. I will always be here for you AJ just like you have been there for all of Jimi’s sisters. We truly appreciate you as our brother and friend Thank you AJ for all that you have done for us and some day maybe we can return the favor to such a wonderful man. Love Debbie

I ashamed to just now reading through all the post on here. It’s 3/11/2020 and this is my first time on here. I just really want to ad a little something more to my mother’s comment. Uncle A.J we don’t see each other like we used to or talk as often, but you have always been there for me especially when I was going through my personal problems not very long after Uncle Jimi was killed. You sat on the phone with me for hours and listened to me pour my feelings out and never once did I even think about how you must have been feeling so soon after Uncle Jimi was killed. Anyway I hope you happen to see this and know that I love you so much for everything you have ever done and still do for me. As soon as I get off my ass and finally start living again instead of just existing. I look forward to building new memories with you like all of the great ones I remember as a kid. I just read what my mom had written so long ago that I needed to get this out. Uncle Jimi it’s been 9yrs and I still think of you everyday and I don’t want to stop. I want to keep remembering all the great times I had as a kid with you. My first root beer float at Strohs in Riverland and my first taco sub from Tubbys. Which I still eat to this day. I’m not very God with expressing my thoughts or feelings but LOVE U MISS U AND I WILL NEVER FORGET U!!!
